Bonnie Anderson has been at the Idaho DOE Site for 24 years, 15 of those years as a Radiological Control Technician (Bargaining Unit). She is currently the VPP Lead for CH2M-WG Idaho LLC. She has been involved in VPP since 1996 when the program started at the then INEL. She served as Unit Employee Safety Team chairperson for 4 years, Company Employee Safety Team Co-Chairperson for 2 years, and the Idaho Cleanup Project (ICP)Company Employee Safety Team Executive Advisor. She is actively involved in Community Outreach and the Human Performance implementation at the Idaho DOE Site. She is an active member of the NVPPPA Mentoring sub-team. She has been recognized by DOE for her Outstanding Performance and Leadership. She is a Qualified SGE. Bonnie is very active in military support. She is Chairperson for the local chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America. She also serves as the company representative on the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Committee. She been recognized by the local military unit for her 'Above and Beyond' support of the military. She and her husband, Dallas, have 6 married children and 26 grandchildren. |

Ella is the EHS Manager of the Tissue Mill for Clearwater Paper Corporation in Lewiston, ID. She is a Certified Safety Professional(CSP), a Certified Infrastructure Preparedness Specialist(CIPS), a Certified Idaho Workers Compensation Specialist (CIWCS), and a Special Government Employee (SGE). Ella graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and has an MBA in International Business. She has worked as a safety professional for 16 years with Unilever and Clearwater Paper specializing in behavioral safety and OSHA Process Safety Management.Ella has been married for 25 years to her husband, Tom, and has 2 daughters. She spends her free time quilting, knitting, fishing, and investigating the historical sights of the areas she visits. |

Michelle Steeler has been in the safety field for 18 years and currently works for Environmental, Safety and Health department of the URS Corporation as a Substance Abuse Prevention Administrator, Return to Work Injury Counselor, and Safety Coordinator for the Boise office. As a part of the Substance Abuse Prevention Program, she is a certified collector and a Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the company. As the Boise office safety coordinator, she handles safety training for new hires, addresses safety issues at the Boise office and it the captain of the safety committee. Michelle became in involved in VPP in 2006 when the Boise office applied for the VPP STAR and she became Special Government Employees (SGE) in 2007. She is the current Delegate Representative for the Snake River Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) She has been a member of the ASSE for 13 years and has served on the Board of Directors for 7 years. Michelle recently earned the chapter and regional Safety Professional of the Year awards. |

Terry has worked for the Idaho National Laboratory or 20 years. The last 10 years she has worked as a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator. She has been involved in VPP since 1999 and has served as a Unit Safety Team Chair for 3 years, Laboratory Safety Team Chair and has held a variety of sub team chair positions. Terry is very involved in Community Outreach for the Laboratory and organizes Farm Safety Day events in different locations throughout the state of Idaho. She and her husband, Ed, have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She spends her spare time enjoying camping, fishing, hunting and snowboarding.

Jim has worked at Weyerhaeuser for over 30 years in different departments. He was chosen by the Local union members to be on the Original VPP team for Longview, Washington. He has been the Local 580 Safety Representative for the last 4 years. |

Kemmer has worked in the Oil & Gas field for over 26 years. The last 19 years have been with ConocoPhillips Alaska and currently serves as a Facility Lead Operator at Central Process Facility 1 (CPF-1) in Kuparuk, Alaska. He became involved with VPP in 2006 and helped get the VPP “Star” certification at the ConocoPhillips Kuparuk Oil Field. Kemmer has served on the Region X Conference Planning Committee for the last three years before joining the Region X Board of Directors. Kemmer enjoys traveling, Golf, and Alaska’s great outdoors summer & winter. Kemmer lives in Soldotna, Alaska with his wife Kathy. They have 2 children Heather & Nicholas and 4 grandchildren. |

Jeff Carlson graduated in 1991 with a BS in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Missouri, and in 1999 with a MS in Environmental Science from Oklahoma University. He has 17 years of direct experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with ConocoPhillips applying Health, Safety and Environmental principles in industrial settings. He facilitated VPP "STAR" certification at ConocoPhillips Kuparuk Oil Field. Professional certifications include: Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Registered Environmental Manager, Certified Environmental Auditor and Special Government Employee (SGE). As an SGE Jeff has actively participated on Region X and Region VIII audits. Jeff enjoys the outdoors and lives in Chugiak, Alaska, with his wife, Caren, and their four children, Kaylee, Karlee, Kody and Kolton. |

Bill Rippon was elected to the Region X Chapter VPPPA Board as Director-at-Large in May 2004. Bill is Safety Manager for the Georgia-Pacific Gypsum Tacoma, Washington wallboard manufacturing facility. Bill helped to lead G-P Gypsum Tacoma to be accepted as a WISHA - VPP Star site in August 2003. Bill has worked at the Tacoma Plant for 22 years, and has worked full time on safety since March 2001. Bill lives in Gig Harbor, Washington and has a wife Barbara, a daughter Stacey (18), and a son Daniel (15). |

| Chris has over 25 years of industrial and occupational safety and health experience including nuclear, chemical, construction and mining. For the past fifteen years Chris has worked directly as a safety and health professional in managing worker protection programs for Monsanto, Fluor Government Group and CH2M HILL. He is currently a Principle Safety Specialist for the CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company at the DOE Hanford site, in Washington. Chris has served in elected leadership positions within the VPP Participants' Association as both a National Director and Regional Chairperson for the Northwest. Currently Chris serves on several VPPPA national committees and is a Director-at-Large for Region 10. | |
