We are very excited to announce the 2010 Region X VPPPA Annual Conference is now open for registration. The Conference will be held on May 11- 13, 2010. Probably the most exciting part is that for the first time ever, we will be traveling ‘North to Alaska’ for the Region X Annual Conference. The beautiful city of Anchorage will be our landing point and our home base will be the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. The memorable attractions of our 49th state combined with the outstanding outline of workshops and speaker s that is scheduled for the conference will certainly make this one of the best yet. |
The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association (VPPPA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is a leader in safety, health and environmental excellence through cooperative efforts among labor, management and government.
The Voluntary Protection Program is designed to recognize and promote effective safety and health management. VPP participants are a select group of facilities that have designed and implemented outstanding health and safety programs. Management, labor and government work together to establish a cooperative relationship at a workplace that has implemented a strong program in VPP.
